Sent to us by way of the Czech Republic, this flowery Giant Anthem is the work of B2 Design & Airbrush. After gaining inspiration from the bicycle and motorcycle scene in Melbourne Australia, B2 was founded in 1995. When the small outfit isn’t painting or designing for the motorsports world including Martin Prokop, B2 has also been known to produce some pretty wild custom bicycle paint jobs.

Presented with the frame and fork, B2 used their skills in the paint booth to create a one of a kind finish. The customer then built the bike around their work resulting in the stunning red and white bike you see above.

Taking advantage of the older red SRAM X0 group, the bike continues the theme with red compressionless housing, Mavic wheels, and white Geax Mezcal tires.

Check out more of their work at b2.cz.

Looks like somebodys toddler got a hold of it. All it needs is some streamers coming out of the grips along with some reflectors to finish it off , I’m sure it rides nice though . Better put a sick fast rider on it .

You lost me with the white tires, narrow bars and frame pump, otherwise a lil over the top but very nicely done.

I guess this would be an example of building a bike almost entirely based on color choices… fugly as all get out personally.

Beautifully executed – but I find it overdone and tastelessly garish.

Apparently it’s time to have a lot of citizens review what the First Amendment says. What it doesn’t say is that posts on a private blog can’t be deleted when the posts don’t meet post guidelines for said blog.

This is the ultimate mid-2000s race bike. I could do without the flowers, but that is still super rad.

Sidenote: what does the First Amendment have to do with a blog comment thread…?

@ Psi Squared and Joshua Murdock,

I was joking about the 1st, but apparently sense of humour is in short supply around here currently. My post that was deleted was not offensive, I simply stated my dislike of the paint and build on this bike, without cursing or ad hominem attack, much as later posts have done.

I guess once the general consensus became apparent, it was fruitless to keep deleting posts?

My take- why do any type of custom paint work (good, bad, or ugly) to a Giant?

Where is the humor evident in your post, Charlie Best? It reads just like real complaints here about moderation of comments. Just because you think something your write is funny doesn’t mean that your text on the screen conveys that.

“Where is the humor evident in your post, Charlie Best?”

It’s subtle, you have to have a sense of it, to get it. Get it?
