Good luck with Universal Sports being available to you with most cable providers. To watch the events on the web you’ll need your cable log-in info, and if the channel isn’t available on your tier then you can’t watch it. Best solution is using the hola.org download to watch the european feeds, a lot of people hoping to watch cx worlds found this out the hard way.

I am so sick and tired of people using Kickstarter to fund their vacations. Kid’s going to make a home movie of his vacation… he “needs” $14K to do it? I’m riding across country this summer too. Unlike him, I sold my car and paid for it myself. Total budget for almost twice the distance (5900 miles) is about a fourth of his budget, and I feel guilty because I’m staying in paid lodging once a week.

The thing about these Kickstarter Vacations is that they often go unfinished. If he thinks he’s going to have enough time to ride 70 miles per day, shoot footage that’s somewhat interesting to anyone other than himself and edit it, he’s nuts. Sure, he’s made a “commitment” to finish, but boy is it easy to bail when it’s not your own cash in the game.
