SOC13: Deity goes Carbon, Plus new pedals and I-Beam seatpost

For 2013, rider owned Deity Components is making it’s first foray into carbon components. Their new line up handlebars features the same great feel that has them so popular at a much lighter weight.

The new T-Mo Enduro bar, developed with World Cup Champ Tracey Mosley, has a  9 bend x 5 upsweep with a 15mm rise in a 735mm wide package that only weighs 210 grams.

The entire line up is available in every variety of luscious colors.

Also new is the DC31 Mohawk, which is a DH oriented model featuring the same 9 bend x 5 upsweep as the T-Mo, except with a 25mm rise, 787 mm wide, and slightly beefier at 245 grams.

Both bars have a non-slip stem clamping area and will be available in June.

Deity teased their new Skyscraper Pedal back in March but the spiritual successors to their popular Decoy pedals are finally available. The new pedals are 11 mm wide and rotate on triple sealed bearings and DU bushing internals.

Weight is 381 for the set. At only $135 MSRP, your pocketbook will suffer less than your shins at the sight of those long pins.

The new 148 gram Retina I-Beam post will only be available in a 200mm long 27.2 size. Shims will be available to size it for 30, 30.9, and 31.6 frames.

Also on display where the new colors for the popular Cryptkeeper and Streetsweeper frames. We hear some minor geometry changes are also in the works…
