Kokopelli’s Trail Map & Guidebook Kickstarted, Special Trips Still Available

The 142-mile Kokopelli Trail runs from Fruita to Moab, connecting two epic trails with a multi-day ride through singletrack, dirt roads, gravel and even a bit of pavement.

For mountain bikers looking to make the trip self supported, 2 Pedal founder Rad Anzulovic is putting together a full color guidebook with maps, images and plenty of info to help you plan and make the ride. The project’s on Kickstarter and has already met its original funding goal, but more money will help him add better artwork and boost the number of first-run prints available. A pledge of $20 gets you a copy, and bigger amounts could get you a private semi-supported trip to and from the trailheads with lunches and a bus to carry your cargo between support stops.

Looking for maps of other famous trails and systems? 2 Pedal’s website sells a variety of publishers and artists.

Rad is also putting together an informal ride on the trail in May, 2013. Details here.
