Well, it must be a part of a DeLorean (I’m guessing maybe a Flux Capacitor shunt resistor?), since today is Sunday, but in the website it’s already Monday…

I remember these brakes. the macmahon scissor links were so powerfull!! the precursor to the bat wing which in my opinion were the best pre v braks brake.

Tim - 12/31/12 - 2:47pm

Yeah, McMahon Scissors Brake. Hope it’s made of better material than my MRC Decelerator cantilever, which was made of pot metal that deformed, bulged, and cracked on me.

EMBER - 12/31/12 - 2:48pm

This is a McMahon Racing Components Power brake “scissor type” – with Link U-Brake Flex Plate.
It’s from about 1991-1996.

To Spencer: I think this is not the “batwing”. That was a “simple” V brake.

campy shoe laces circa 1970s… alright, wheres my prize?

Spencer - 12/31/12 - 7:34pm

Confirmed, not the Batwing.
