Independent Fabrication’s Limited Deluxe Redux Gets Igleheart Fork & (OMG!) Purple Ano Chris King Hubs!
Independent Fabrication has a new special edition version of their mountain bike called the Deluxe Redux. Chris Igleheart made the segmented forks for them, and Chris King is doing a special run of purple anodized headsets, hubs and bottom brackets for them. Yes, purple!
Want one? They’re only making 36, and only 12 of the lavender El Fabuloso ones with the purple ano bits. They’ll also do 12 each of a green “Bite the Lime” and “Before & After” blue, a nod to the Ford Mustang color Boss Blue from the 60′s.
The color name for the purple bike was inspired from a Hispanic version of Windex.
Igleheart was brought in because he was one of the original guys at Fat City, the company that became Independent Fabrication.
Complete bikes are $5999 with handbuilt wheels, Stan’s rims, custom painted Crank Brothers cockpit. Oh, and the Chris King hubs, bottom bracket and headset.

Hey Mike. I wasn’t trying to say the bikes lack quality, just that I miss king in 3dv. Ive owned three king headsets in purple and a set of their hubs. Maybe the photos are deceiving me.
