Photo submitted by Doug Small, “Fires in the west are rampant due to long periods of dry and hot weather. This is one I took on one of the trails in the Salt Lake valley. This particular fire jumped over an interstate and a river stopping 500ft away from some houses. I wish the best to everyone affected by the fires this summer.”
