SOC12: Colorful New Components from Deity

Deity components began as a small rider owned business in early 2004, focused on the after market, and their market share and product line has blossomed in the intervening time. The companies recent success has allowed them to expand their dedicated dirt jump line up to include freeride, downhill, and all mountain oriented components. Set for release this summer and fall are brand new bars, stems, and saddles in delicious ano colors, and weight weenie pleasing weights.

The 4 piece moto inspired locust DM stem is slotted to allow adjustability from 50mm to 55mm. The manufacturer claims the 7075 T6 stem is 3x stronger than the average 6061 T6 direct mount stem. It uses a standard boxxer pattern and weighs just 117 gm. It is slated for a fall release.

The handle bar pictured, the Diety CZ38 special, is a custom Cameron Zink signature model. The bar is 760 mm (30′) wide and had a 38 mm rise.

Deity Cavity Stem

Currently being tested in the real world by the likes of Cameron Zink and Tyler McCaul, the Deity Cavity Stem has a super short 32 mm stack height. The stem is perfect for anyone with a too tall head tube or too short steer tube. The 50mm stem is CNC’d from 6061 T6 and can be flip flopped to adjust bar height. A wide 55 mm face place helps keep things stiff when used in conjunction with ultra-wide 31.8 bar. The multiple points of internal and external machining, and chambered edges, help keep weight down to a respectable 173 grams.

Saddles

Deity components supports three different seatpost mounting options: I-beam, pivotal, and traditional rails. The comfortable Deity pivotal saddle and seatpost combo have proven to be extremely popular amongst the dirt jump and bmx crowd. With this new line up of I-Beam and rail saddles Deity is looking to capture the hearts of Downhill riders.

Deity Pinner DH Saddle

The Deity pinner DH saddle keeps the weight at a low 243 grams by utilizing hollow cro-mo rails. The microfiber covers feature glossy colored stripes and color matched bases. The longish lightweight foam saddle is designed for the downhill, all mountain, enduro, or XC crowd.

Deity Mainline DH Saddle

The mainline DH saddle features the same clean lines and lightweight foam and microfiber cover as the pinner saddle, but utilizes CrN TI allow black rails to keep weight low.  This saddle weighs aprx 221 grams, or roughly 21 gm less than pinner,  and will be officially released this summer.

Deity components now produces a full line of components and hard tail frames in a myriad of colors, but look for the release of a new slopestyle frame in the future as well!
