This actually the NORTH coast of Spain I know so well. Nothing to do with that Mediterranian coast most people know.
Even weather and people is radically different there in the Biscay Gulf (or Cantabrian Sea as locals call it). It is the Atlantic, after all, so it is more of Ireland, West France and Britain than what we use to think Spain is. Definitely, worth a trip.
Or the Basque coast. Like you say Matthew it’s very different from the Med coast and from southern Spain. Different in culture, geology, history, climate and of course in it’s biking!
Hey guys! I live in Spain now – where is this – send me a map, or guide me when I come that way from Madrid, please!
Thanks!
Luke
