2012 Orbea Mountain Bike Sneak Peek – Carbon Rallon, New Alma Hardware

2012 Orbea Rallon Carbon mountain bike.jpg

We’re at Orbea’s home office in Mallabia, Spain, and managed to spot a few changes and new goodies hiding in plain sight. Above is (suspected to be) the front triangle for a new carbon fiber version of the 150mm travel Rallon all-mountain bike.

Also spotted were some welcome changes to the cable guides on the Alma 29er hardtail. There’s more to come soon. Make the jump for your immediate fix…

For the Alma, which we should have a review on here soon, the cable guide hardware gets some updates that make it a bit smoother:

New seat binder, too.

Looks ‘smooth’, will these be the 2012 bikes?

The above carbon frame is the new Occam frame which should come out later this year, not the carbon Rallon.

I thought so too, according to the high single pivot configuration. Have the Occam Carbon, quite interested how the new one will look like (and drive like :). Any details yet?
