Trek Adds Team Paint Schemes to Project One Custom Orders
Trek has just added their team bike paint schemes for Leopard-Trek and Radio Shack to Project One custom offerings.
The Madone 6.9 SSL above is the Schleck edition and runs $11,623.47 as shown. Want something a little more “custom” looking, check the Spartacus (Fabian Cancellara) model after the break, followed by the Radio Shack colorway…
There’s also a Speed Concept TT bike with Spartacus’ paint for $11,891.22.
The Radio Shack Edition comes in at “just” $9,439.47 and is spec’d with SRAM Red versus Shimano Dura-Ace Di2 (battery mounts under BB shell). For detail photos, check out this post.

Almost 12 grand for a bike without Di2 with heavy Bontrager aero wheels (heavy compared to other competitor wheels).
That’s insane!!!
Both the Schleck and Spartacus models shown are sporting DI2.
That $12,000 bike is clearly Di2. But the real beauty of Project 1 is that you can spec your Madone or Speed Concept however you want.
Am I the only on that has noticed those are not the current Bontrager wheels on any of those bikes? The current have internal spoke nipples. These you can clearly see black spoke nipples, hinting at a redesign, maybe not such a heavy wheelset??
