New Full Suspension GT Zaskar?

Spotted beneath a thick coat of dark colored duct tape, what is possibly the new full suspension GT Zaskar was spotted recently by the crew over at Velovert.com. Rumors have been spreading that GT has been working on a new 100mm full suspension platform, and this spotting on May 29th certainly seems to validate the claims.

Lots of tape covering up any graphics, but it still can’t hide the tapered head tube. Can’t hide the internal cable routing either.

The front shock mount looks interesting, I wonder what’s under that tape? It definitely seems that this bike, if it is the Zaskar FS, will retain the Idrive suspension platform, just in a smaller more efficient package. They must have referred to the original Zaskar on this one…because why on earth is that top-tube so high!

That looks like a 22″ or 23″ frame size, it sure looks unattractive in that size.

clearly that is a GT and yes they are bringing out a 100ml dual suspension zaskar….we will be seeing them very soon here is Aus ive already seen pictures and they look fantastic…nothing like the frankenstien in these images.

calling this thing a Zaskar is really just a lame marketing ploy. This thing shares no blood with the original Zaskar. It’s just another (fugly) bike.
