Redline Recalls 2008 D640 Mountain Bikes

Redline Bikes and their parent company, Seattle Bicycle Supply, announced a recall today on some of their D640 mountain bikes sold during 2008. From Redline:

Seattle Bike Supply requests that you STOP USING the recalled bicycles immediately. Cracking in the head tube weld joints can cause the head tube to separate from the frame and cause the rider to lose control, posing a fall hazard to consumers. Contact a local Redline bicycle dealer to receive a free frame replacement.
