PRESS RELEASE: Cyclepath Bike Shop of Portland, Oregon and Moots Bicycles of Steamboat Springs Colorado have joined together along with other sponsors listed below to donate a Moots complete bike in a raffle. We will be selling 1,000 tickets at $20 each. You may buy as many tickets as you’d like. All money will be split equally and donated to the Bicycle Transportation Alliance (www.bta4bikes.org) and the Northwest Trail Alliance (www.nw-trail.org) for their continued service in bringing Portland, the State of Oregon and places elsewhere trails and bike paths for us to enjoy and commute on.
The winner of the bike will get to choose between a Moots Mooto-X or a Moots Psychlo-X built with SRAM X.O or SRAM Force components. They will have a Moots stem and seatpost, Chris King hubs, bottom bracket and headset and many more awesome, high-end parts. The total build will retail for approximately $7,000!
The Raffle ends November 11th, 2010 (roughly three weeks) and the winner will be named that evening at a party commemorating the end of the raffle at Someday Lounge located: 125 NW 5th Ave. Portland, Oregon. party will go from 6:30-8:30pm. Winner does not need to be present at party but everyone is encouraged to show up. The raffle is not limited to people residing in Oregon, but all travel/shipping expenses will be paid by the winner. Cyclepath will be doing a professional fit and will be building the bike to your color and size specs. There will be four runner-up prizes in the raffle including: a light set, clothing and Hopworks gift certificates.
