The paint on his custom Trek Speed Concept 9.9 will barely be dry by the time Chris Lieto has to box it up (or has someone box it up) to take it to down to the Ironman World Championships in Kona, Hawaii on October 9th. Lieto has placed top ten at Ironman Worlds three times and is the current record holder for the bike leg of Ironman Canada, but Chris isn’t just another fast guy in a leotard; he is also the founder of More Than Sport, an organization that challenges athletes to sponsor underprivileged children. In fact, each name written on Chris’ frame-set and Aeolus 9.0 wheels represents a child that More Than Sport is committed  to supporting.

Chris was just one of three professional triathletes to receive custom-painted Speed Concepts for Ironman Worlds: British triathlete Julie Dibens and Scottish triathlete Fraser Cartmell were hooked up with one-of-a-kind bikes as well.
