Hutchinson Launches RT1, The First Road Tubeless Full Carbon Clincher Wheelset

Hutchinson showed us their all new wheelset, built by Corima, that’s billed as the first-ever full carbon clincher wheelset that’s Road Tubeless compatible.

It shouldn’t come as much of a surprise that Hutchinson came up with them, they’re one of the leading forces behind the push to go tubeless on the road.

Specs are light at the moment, but here’s what we’ve got:

  • 680g front wheel
  • 890g rear wheel
  • 1,570g pair
  • $2,500

We’ll post more when they start filling in the holes. In the meantime, check out more photos after the break…

These are really re-badged Corima wheels. Not sure if you guys caught it but Corima are back in the USA through Bicobike.

Hutchinson has had a website for these that says “coming soon” for the last couple of years. http://www.roadtubeless.net/en/rt1-wheels
