iPhone App to Help You Train for First Triathlon
JammyCo has introduced their 1stTimeTri app for the iPhone and iPod Touch. Â It’s designed to walk beginners through a 12-week training program to prepare for their first triathlon. Â The training workouts were designed by former professional triathlete Jamima Wolk.
Prior to using starting their workout, they recommend you’re able to do the following (individually, not one after another): (1) swim a total of 4 laps or 100 yards during a particular workout (this can include stops in-between laps); (2) bike for 20 minutes without stopping, at an easy, leisurely pace; and (3) run at least one mile continuously using an easy, leisurely pace.
It’s available through iTunes (link will launch iTunes, assuming you have it installed) for $9.99 USD.
