Interbike 2008 – Twenty6 Stems and Pedals
Twenty6 Products had a few new items on display.  We posted on their pedals and levers earlier here, so here’s the new stuff.  These stems are the big feature, showing some pretty nice machining and colors.  In the foreground is their Direct Mount stem, which offers three mount points to give it an effective length of 45mm, 50mm or 55mm with a weight of 130g.  They come in black, blue, red, green, yellow, orange, pink,  brown, white, wood grain and urban camo.
The Stem in the background is the traditional mount version and has a very nice bolt system.  Read “more” for closeups and details…
The hole for the steerer tube is machined out to save weight, and check out the cool clamp system to tighten it onto the steerer.  This one comes in 50mm length in both 1-1/8″ (145g) and 1.5″ (161g) steer tube diameters in the same variety of colors as the Direct Mount.  MSRP and product names are not set yet.
This cool pink/green stem was behind plexiglass (hence the grainyness).
Here’s an example of the new Wood Grain color scheme, shown on Twenty6′s pedals and brake levers.  Click on pic to enlarge.
