Photo submitted by Myk McCorvey, “This photo is from my recent 300 mile bikepacking trip along the John Wayne Trail in Washington state to the Idaho border aboard a Specialized Fuse 27.5+ hardtail. This trail is one of the longest rail trail conversions in the country. It’s incredibly diverse in terrain from high trestles built into the evergreen mountains seen here to arid desert scablands in eastern Washington. I did this ride solo and it took about a week to complete.”

We always love seeing photos of where you are riding and are happy to share them with our readers around the world here on the Pic Of The Day. Send in your pics with a brief description here.

Did you ride back as well? I made it up to Thorpe before having to turn around. If only I had a week to myself!

I love the John Wayne trail. Grew up living right by it and still love riding it. If you live in WA and haven’t done it, ride the Snoqualmie tunnel (just don’t forget your lights and I recommend going with someone). You can park at the East end of it.

That bridge was a lot scarier before they put up the fence.
