In addition to challenging the notion of pinch flats, ENVE had a number of bikes on display in their booth that were dripping with custom painted carbon. One of those bikes had a paint scheme that was literally dripping – and created to celebrate ENVE’s 10th anniversary.
Ireland’s FiftyOne Bikes is known for making incredible custom carbon bicycles, and their ENVE10 is no exception. Limited to just 10 builds in honor of the 10 year anniversary for ENVE, each carbon bike will be completely custom fit to the owner with their choice of sizes for the custom painted ENVE components. Individually numbered from 1-10, the bikes include the custom paint shown above throughout, while the frame has structural improvements as well.
According to founder Aidan Duff, the frame is their first flat mount disc option, and it also includes all new seat stays and a new bottom bracket. Called the Dominator, the BB uses a titanium insert with a carbon shell to provide room for cables or wires around the BB and threaded BB.
Nearly every component on the bike has been given the custom touch, and the paint job is incredibly complex with color changing paint and matching ENVE logos on the wheels. As mentioned, only 10 will be built and at least one is already claimed. Each bike will be available as a frameset with the ENVE fork, bars, stem, and seatpost for €6,500, or as a complete build with Dura Ace Di2 Disc for €12,400 or Campagnolo Record Disc for €11,900. Rim brake versions are also available. Bikes also include a custom photo book of the build process and the finished product to keep on your coffee table for those days where you can’t ride, but still want to drool over your new bike.
