For many of us living in four-season climates, the riding season is opening up and it’s about time to take stock of our bike and clothing needs for the coming summer. If you could use a fresh jersey or two, Twin Six recently announced their 2017 collection with new offerings for men and women.

In addition to updating graphics, they’ve also expanded their Standard jersey line with a new Masher option. Made from unused panels of the solid Standard jerseys, the Mashers come in random colorways creating unique, asymmetrical patterns.

If you like to look co-ordinated there are jackets, hats, socks and water bottles available that match many of these jerseys. You’ll have to check out Twin Six’s website for the full collection, but here’s a look at a few pieces of the new lineup…

Men’s jerseys:

Twin Six 2017 Artcrank jersey, mens Twin Six 2017 Head of State jersey, mens

The men’s jerseys shown here all feature the same construction and materials (aside from the Standard line below), but Twin Six provides a wide range of graphics to suit your style. The jerseys are made of soft-touch 100% polyester microfiber, and feature-wise Twin Six has kept things fairly simple.

Each jersey has a hidden full-length front zipper and three rear pockets, plus a collar and hems on the sleeves and body. Also, last year the company decided to lengthen their sleeves a bit and this revision remains for 2017.

With tons of different graphics to choose from, Twin Six should have something in their lineup for nearly everyone. If you like a little artwork without going too nuts, the new Artcrank (above left) or the updated Head of State jerseys (above right) might appeal to your aesthetics.

Twin Six 2017 Slinger jersey, mens Twin Six 2017 Providence jersey, mens

If you like a little more razzle dazzle, Twin Six isn’t afraid to bring plenty of attention your way with wild designs like the Providence (right) or the Slinger (left). All of the above jerseys sell for $85 USD.

Twin Six 2017 Standard jersey, mens Twin Six 2017 Standard Masher jersey, mens

If you prefer a more formal appearance there’s always the Standard jersey. This jersey is cut from a different cloth versus the others- The Standard uses Prime T6 fabric with MoistureTransport technology, and it offers UPF 28+ protection from the sun. The jersey’s construction and features are similar to rest of the men’s line.

The Standard jersey was always available in solid colors (and still is, like the Blue one on the left) but this year Twin Six has added a nifty Masher option (right). Made from scraps of their Standard jerseys, you can now get a color-mixed version with randomized patches of different leftover fabrics. The solid or Masher Standard jerseys sell for $110.

Women’s jerseys:

Twin Six 2017 Flow jersey, womens Twin Six 2017 Soloist jersey, womens

Twin Six offers women some of the same graphic options as the men’s line, so if you like the Slinger or Artcrank designs don’t worry, they’re not just for the dudes. The classic Standard and new Standard Masher jerseys are also available to women as well.

The women’s jerseys share the same construction and details as the men’s, but are of course re-cut to fit the female body. Again, a wide variety of patterns and graphics allows just about anyone to find the look they want.

Although certainly not visually boring, the Soloist’s dotted and striped look and the Flow’s fine pattern are some of the more subtle options for 2017. The Flow is also available in the reverse colorway, with a black background and white flecks.

Twin Six 2017 Starla jersey, womens Twin Six 2017 Speedy Rose Canyon jersey, womens

The Starla and Speedy Rose Canyon (which is also available in men’s) show a bit more flair with their eye catching all-over patterns. Twin Six’s women’s jerseys sell for $85 except for the Standard models which go for $110.

I want to like their stuff but the fit is too “club” and the fabric is too thick, not suitable for summer outside of the great white north.

He-man, have you tried the newer stuff? It is great! The Standard and Standard Race have a very light fabric, and fit great.
