Spring is one of my favorite seasons to ride thanks to moderate temps, the occasional rain shower, gentle breezes across freshly tilled farmlands, and of course the blossoming shrubs and flowers along the side of the road. Velocio hopes to inspire both guys and gals to get out and ride with their spring collection that includes long and short-sleeved jerseys, vests, and of course, bibs.

Get sized up past the break…

The updated women’s spring collection includes the ES jersey (left), Ultralight jersey (mid), Light Long Sleeve jersey (right). Upgrades made to the ES jersey include fabric changes and redesigned panels for an aero fit. It keeps its predecessors three pockets , a water-resistant pocket, and reflective details. Weighing in at ~100 grams (varying with size), the Ultralight jersey features reflective logos and details, three pockets, a short collar, tailored for riding position, and a full YKK locking zipper front. The Light Long Sleeve jersey is made Italy and gets breathable side panels, reflective details, four pockets with a secured water-resistant pocket, YKK full front zip, and silicone grips around the waist. Sizes: XXS – XL : XXL (LLS jersey)     Prices: $180 (ES) : $150 (Ultralight) : $180 (LLS)

To complete the kit there’s the Signature Fly (top left), Luxe (bottom left), and ES (right) bib shorts. If the name doesn’t give it away, the Signature Fly is a potty friendly bib that has a YKK zipper running from the top of the butt up the spine above the hips. This provides just enough room to pull them down & around the glutes to sit, no wardrobe changes mid-ride! Additionally, it has microfiber upper straps,  printed silicone leg grips, and an on bike fit. The Luxe bib shorts are built with high quality Lycra, providing compression and support, plus a snug aero fit. They also have a Signature Fly, reflective details, three panel design, and high density chamois. The ES bibs get high-compression Lycra, microfiber upper straps, microfiber leg band, printed silicone grips, reflective details, and a high density chamois. Sizes: XXS – XL     Prices: $230 (Sig Fly) : $260 (Luxe) : $200 (ES)

Completely redesigned for 2017, the Wind vest has new panel cuts and lighter fabrics leading to a 30% weight savings from last year. Features include reflective details, three pockets, windproof fabrics on the front and sides, microfleece collar, and a breathable back. Sizes: XS – XXL     Price: $180

The men’s spring collection comes with similar updates to their ES, Ultralight, and Light Long Sleeved jerseys. Other than the print, the big changes to the ES jersey are refined panel designs and a new torso fabric. It keeps the four pockets (including a water-resistant one), short collar, longer sleeves, and silicon waist grips. The Ultralight jersey has three pockets, reflective logos and details, locking YKK full front zip, and a soft in-hand feel. Their Light Long Sleeve battles cooler days with an Italian polyamide-elastane fabric, breathable side panels, reflective details, YKK front zip, three rear pockets, and a water-resistant secured pocket. Sizes: XS – XXL     Prices: $180 (ES) : $150 (Ultralight) : $180 (LLS)

The men also get updated bibs including the Luxe (top left), Signature (top right), and ES (bottom). The Luxe are 38% high-compression Lycra for muscle support and aero fit. Three panels reduce seams and weight, and lead to a comfortable fit. The Signature bibs are a race cut garment built for all day rides. Microfiber leg bands and printed silicone grips add comfort, while a high density chamois provides the cushion. Updates to the ES bibs include microfiber leg bands with printed silicone grips. Similar to the other bibs provided it gets an aero fit, reflective logos, and a high density chamois.  Sizes: XS – XXL     Prices: $260 (Luxe) : $230 (Signature) : $200 (ES)
