Swiss trail bike maker Bold Cycles is back for a new season with another limited edition of their unique full suspension platform in collaboration with Women’s Bike Camp. The women-only skills camp is expanding to two locations this summer and Bold is back as a supporting partner – one in the Austrian & one in the Italian Alps – where there are plenty of technical trails to hone riders of all levels. Last year the very pink bike they put together for factory rider & instructor Sabrina Morell was a hit for riders looking for a splash of all-mountain color so they are doing it again, this time in another departure from their typical black, gray & orange palette to help draw us out of a gray winter…

Again the Linkin Trail WBC Limited will be available in just 30 frames, now in matt turquoise. The frame is based on their original Linkin Trail Classic platform, so gets 130mm of Boost-spaced rear wheel travel care of a DT Swiss X313 ODL  shock. Complete bike builds leave a good bit up to the individual buyer, and can go for either 29″ wheels or 27.5+ in the same frame platform, paired with either 130mm or 140mm forks.

The Linkin Trail WBC Limited doesn’t come cheap, starting at 5420 CHF/5321€ (including VAT) for a SRAM GX build, with the sky being the limit up to XX1 Eagle drivetrain and suspension, brake & cockpit upgrades. The Women’s Bike Camp limited edition bikes can be ordered now direct from Bold with delivery slated for the end of March.

They need to make a super burly, short travel version for jumps and things. They can call it the Linkin Park.

There are enough men only events out there. There is also a comfort in learning with other women. These and other events are great at building confidence and friendship among women.
