German rider Julia Hofmann is headed to Canada to explore new trails & riding with Rocky Mountain. She’s looking for Good Times on the bike in 2017 with plans for some world travel, hitting many a Enduro race, plus a bunch of mountain bike camps that she’ll be guiding. But until the snows clear in the Rockies and those next steps get under way, get pumped to ride with a look at her hitting the warm trails on La Palma. Then hop past the break for some more off-road inspiration including a the new Canyon Factory Downhill Team and then the updated Santa Cruz Syndicate screwing up…

Another one that will inspire riding that is going to have to wait until spring. Well unless you are going to pack in some fatbikes. But once the snow clears, the Upper Peninsula of Michigan has also got a bunch of excellent singletrack to explore. The folks over at Freehub Magazine hit up some friends and midwest locals for a lot of options outside several towns and plenty of places to ride, plus a few spots to grab a beer along the way.

A couple of months back we got a Why Cycles’ R+ titanium gravel adventure bike in for a test on our on back roads and trails. But the Why Cycles crew has been out on their own adventures. They took a nice little bikepacking trip in Utah, spending several days outside enjoying amazing weather, landscapes, and good company with each other. Something about… beer, bikes, and friends, plus a bit of scenic filming from San Juan Productions.

Canyon is putting an end to speculation with the final announcement of their all-new Canyon Factory Downhill Team being guided by multiple World Champion Fabien Barel. The race team itself is led by World Cup winner Troy Brosnan, plus plenty of other good talent in there, including a former Junior World Champ. They’ll be racing the Sender CF at the World Cup’s and we’ll keep an eye out as to whether their DH DisConnect makes it into the races.

The Santa Cruz Syndicate has announced their 2017 team roster, in a not so conventional Youtube way. But they couldn’t do it with out a few outtakes.
