We joined Bombtrack in rural eastern France several weeks back for a bit of a behind-the-scenes look at how they develop their bikes and of course for the chance to ride some new bikes with the those who create them. In what they say will be an annual event bringing together their family of designers, team riders, and ambassadors, Bombtrack’s Gressoux Groundworks weekend was a good chance for us to sneak in and get some one-on-one time with the people that make the company tick. We rode their no-nonsense bikes on quiet dirt, gravel & paved roads and tried to get a bit lost in the surrounding forests. Take a glimpse of the kind of riding the begets their style of bikes.

Plus, hop past the jump for a look at another video that OSM mashed up for Bombtrack from three of their bigger individual adventure trips from the latter part of this year. Then Two Wheel Gear’s lighthearted locker room founding re-enactment, and Tune staightening your bars…

At the Groundworks event, Bombtrack’s partner videographers from OSM films compiled a quick mash up video of some of their other riding adventure from 2016. Joachim Rosenlund rode his Hook EXT across the high gravel Torino-Nice Rally, Stefan Vis & his Bombtrack racing team pedaled the Tempest Disc over La Haute Route, and Tobias Cordes took his Beyond on a bit more relaxed trip of urban fly fishing. Bombtrack.com

The Naked Truth with Two Wheel Gear: Two Wheel Gear has their roots in the corporate locker room. They created the first garment bag for professionals to bike to the office without wrinkling their suit. The Vancouver brand began in an office locker room where gear was the topic of conversation. They say that this is a pretty faithful recreation of actual first conversations that company president Reid Hemsing had with other corporate executives about their original prototype of the Classic Garment Pannier. TwoWheelGear.com

We’ve seen it before, but I kinda love Tune’s silly over engineered Spurtreu for technology to get your handlebars straight. My poor excuse is that I end up hopping on a lot of different bikes and sometime am in a hurry to get them set up for my stack and reach quickly. It has surely been more than once that someone accused me of setting up someone else’s bike, or riding my own with a crooked handlebar. So maybe lasers are the answer (at least for me.) Tune.de
