The Sufferfest’s quest to rule all of your devices is more complete than ever now that its Windows app is out of Beta and fully functioning. That means it connects to Bluetooth and ANT+ devices (assuming your PC has the appropriate hardware) to read power, heart rate, speed and cadence. Don’t have a power meter? Just let it know which trainer you’re using and it’ll use your speed and cadence to approximate your power output based on known resistances of most every common trainer. If you’ve never tried The Sufferfest, it’s an entertaining alternative to virtual worlds with workouts designed to improve all aspects of your cycling performance. We love them, and the app lets you subscribe to view all 37 of their videos any time you want, even offline. Check the video above to see what else it does. First timers can download the free app and sign up to try it for seven days at no cost. After that, it’s $10 a month if you don’t cancel.

Interesting…beating Zwift to iPad…but seems less immersive for the same price so happy to continue with Zwift. Zwift has tons of prebuilt workouts which are of quality, plus the ability to customize your own. Not a spokeperson, just a fan. Gonna be tough to outdo Zwift without offering more, just less, all for the same price.

Have just completed a 10 week block with Sufferfest videos @ 2 per week and saw a 10% increase in FTP – highly recommended – real videos of real riders, expert science behind it.
