For little riders that wanna go big, there’s nothing better than a good bike to inspire courage. And while Cedric’s off-bike antics may not be G-rated, his racing can certainly inspire the kids to ride hard. Especially if their bike comes prebuilt with racing graphics, pro-style saddle and grips, and a race-ready 6061 T6 aluminum frame with proper trail tires. It’s even disc brake ready, helping the youngsters to learn about upgrading sooner than later…

Designed with sponsored pro Cedric Gracia, the Crank Brothers Mini CG balance bike is aimed at 2-5 year olds just learning to “ride”. It’s built on 12″ wheels with real, inflatable tires.

The rear end is ready for a 140mm disc brake rotor and caliper. A foot rest surrounds the seat tube’s base so they can tuck in for speed.

A cushioned saddle gets race graphics, and the grips are alternating colors, because that makes them faster, of course.

Retail is $225, weight is 10lb, availability is limited.

Tyler:
Didn’t you mean to write:
“…pro-style saddle and grips and a WARRANTY-ready 6061 T6 aluminum frame…”?
; )

Is there any product that Crank Brothers can’t dilute down to a crass, “style with no substance” caricature of the category for a buck?

Kids deserve better. Fortunately, several others focus on the needs of the user, not the egos of the buyer.

They are just reselling the Production Privee CG bike. Look them up on productionprivee.com. they make a really rad hard tail frame as well.

Btw absolutely no affiliation with them. Just like their stuff and kinda which CB just partnered with them and brought their products to the USA.

Wow, great another absurdly heavy balance bike. Cool. Yay

I’m not sure what your talking about. Heavy is actually good as it will lead to building better motor skills which is critical for the kids riding these things. You also forget that 10lbs isn’t much. Most toddlers can life that no prob!

My boy has it.
Absolutely no problem with weight and way more durable than plastic cheap bikes.
Plus you can add brake when speed is increasing drastically.

Yeah. Ride hard. Especially that the bike has no brakes (yes, good balance bikes have at least one brake)
