Donkey Label’s  goal when designing the Wind Vest was to avoid turning riders into a “traffic cone”. They aimed to offer a more comfortable, breathable, visible alternative to what the current market has to offer. They focused on a stretchy no-flap collar, form-fitting arm holes, and a packable windproof construction. It comes in gray with orange or yellow highlights, weighs in at 1 lb, and priced at $95.

Rapha’s new Reflective Climber’s Shoes have an upper that illuminates under light, and a toe box strap that provides more visibility. They’re built on top of EC90 SLXII soles, and house Giro’s SuperNatural Fit footbeds. The material of choice is a perforated synthetic leather, included on the three fastening straps. Furthermore, a  replaceable heel stud keeps the sole like new. They’re available in both blue and yellow, weigh about 215g at size 9.5 US, and priced at $400.

Velocio’s Ultralight lineup includes both men’s and women’s jerseys, vests, base layers, and arm protectors. YKK locking zippers, silicon grippers, and reflective logos are standard for the jerseys, vests, and arms. The jerseys are designed to feel light and breathable and include three pockets. The vests get a windproof front, and breathable mesh back, constructed with ripstop nylon. UPF 50+ protection is standard on the arm screens and the muscle-supporting fabric is stitched together with flatlock seams. Lastly, the base layers are built with Polartec’s Delta fabric, and claim exceptional breathability while paired with their jerseys and bibs. Did I mention it’s all made in Italy? Prices: Jerseys $140 – Vests $125 – Arm screens $50 – Base Layers $75.
