Brompton had their folders on display, and though there didn’t appear to be any big changes, the small tweaks they made showed they’re listening to feedback. Plus, they had a couple of new colors to show, as well as some pretty stylish bags…

We saw Brompton’s limited edition “Black” last year and pictured above in the limited edition nickel finish is Brompton’s Superlight sporting a titanium rear triangle and fork. The nickel finish is of course durable and has exceptional anti-corrosion resistance. Only 1500 Nickel Editions will be shipped globally and will be available to order in models S, M, and H Types with 2 & 6 speed options. The bike is available in all steel with black extremities or the superlight option (above).

One of the little updates they made was improving the rolling wheels. They made them a little more durable so not to easily chip or break.

Also new is their Stardust finish which will be offered as a “premium” color. Stardust looks black until you get it in the sun. It was hard to capture with my camera’s flash, but when I did, it looked pretty brilliant.

Another welcome sight in their booth was their “Modern Luggage” line of lifestyle bags. This £100 green Roll-Top shoulder bag, with a waxed canvas shell, can be expanded or rolled up depending on the size of the load you’re carrying. The storm-grey Game Bag is special in that it was made in collaboration with British luggage maker Chapman. Made of hand-woven Harris Tweed, the £295 Game Bag is also available in a few waxed canvas colors.

Their £90 standard shoulder bag is pretty regular fare when it comes to shoulder bags, but like the ones above and the £75 Tote bag on the right, it will attach to Brompton’s easy on/off carrier block. The carrier block is mounted to the frame and is completely independent of the steering.
