In spite of ESPN doing their best to keep us guessing as to which channel it would be on, Cam Zink made history last night by pulling off a world record back flip on live TV. Cam made the landing so smooth that it made the whole backflipping 100’3″ look almost too easy. According to Cam’s interview after the flip, he not only came home with the Guinness World Record for the longest back flip, but the longest unassisted dirt to dirt straight air as well traveling some 120 feet. Nicely done, Cam.

From Maxxis:

This episode features the Santa Cruz Syndicate team where Josh “Ratboy” Bryceland has been on a tear since winning his first World Cup in Leogang.  Santa Cruz debuted the new V-10 at MSA where Josh piloted it to a 2nd place finish.  He followed up that up by smoking the field at Windham the following week as well as taking the overall points lead!  We also catch up with Matt Walker of the Banshee Bikes Factory Team as he fights to stay on pace.

Our longtime rider Geoff Kabush of Scott-3Rox Racing is profiled as well with his two strong finishes at the races.  Geoff was on one of our latest XC tires, the Pace.  With its small knobs and round profile the Pace hauls on XC courses.

SRAM has been putting out some great videos in the Steps to the Top Series, and the Red Bull Joyride edition is no different. Take a look at what goes into getting to the top of the Joyride podium, and check out the other three Steps to the Top videos if you haven’t seen them yet, next.

It was a big day for the trio of Brandon Semenuk, Anthony Messere and Logan Peat. Logan returned to the Crankworx Slopestyle for the first time in seven years, conquering years of injuries and bad luck by throwing down a powerful run good enough for fourth place. Anthony Messere, coming off his first win FMB Diamond level event, starred again in the event where he made his name, blasting everything higher than everyone else. He would join Brandon on the podium, and continue to lead the overall FMB standings. Brandon Semenuk continued his slopestyle dominance in the only fashion he knows: clinical perfection. He would become the first three-time winner of the Red Bull Joyride.
