Can someone direct me to some good trails in that area. I frequent western mass and I want to find some trails that have long climbs and that can allow me to get 20-30 miles.

Great Photo Carlos

@savard – Pittsfield SF in W.Mass/NY border might fit your bill. Rise up from the SF and come down on the Jiminy Peak DH trails!

If you are coming from the east the Charlemont Trails System is a good option – https://www.facebook.com/CharlemontTrails

Great shot. Savard, plenty of great riding. Give a shout on the NEMBA facebook page and you’ll find a guide.

Nice, Carlos. Trail pictured here is atop Sugarloaf North. Small riding area with good climbs and descents. But, it can be connected to a much longer series of trails that lace the hillsides of the Long Ridge that runs from Sugarloaf South up to (and past) Poet’s Seat in Greenfield. Several shops (Bike World and Bicycles Unlimited) run group rides all over this long ridge on a weekly basis. Also, check out the PVNEMBA website as they also host a number of rides in this area.

Lots of nice riding in the area – Wendell State Forest, The ridge shown in this photo, Charlemont, Holyoke Range, all with plenty of climbs, some nice techy rock, and 20 miles minimum single track. As Adin said, the PVNEMBA facebook group will get you a guide to any of these.
