Unless your snow is crusty enough to keep you on top of it, you’re better off with non-fat wheels.

I don’t think folks know this.

It’s not that common to find snow that’s thawed and refrozen into a form that’ll keep any bike on top of it. That’s why fat bikes evolved for riding on snowmobile trails.

@Ol’ Shel’, do you even ride a fat bike? Here in the Upper Midwest we ride on plenty of singletrack.
