As promised in our recent post about the new Budnitz MTB, No.2M, the contest is live.  The bike up for grabs is the steel framed version, and will be coated in a one off paint job dubbed Detonator Orange.  The single speed build will include hydraulic brakes from Formula, Schwalbe Racing Ralph tires, White Brothers carbon fork, as well as a ti Budnitz Beer Wrench for that post ride beer.  Since sizing and single speed gearing are very personal options, the Budnitz crew will work with the winner to get the bike set up and rolling right.

The winner will be chosen at random on November 26th at 4pm EST.

Who can say no to free parts? Even if it does lack a proper drivetrain.

Doh!

I’ve already signed up for the newsletter in the past… so, it seems I can’t enter the contest. That blows. Really dig the city bike and was looking for a single speed mountain rig. Seemed like it would be a good fit. Well, now that’s it’s spec’d with hydraulic discs.

Was this contest a shame? Not a single mention of a winner has been announced in over 2 weeks since the official drawing has been made. Nothing posted on Bikerumor, Budnitz website, Budnitz email, Budnitz Facebook. What’s the deal?
