Friday Roundup – Bicycle Bits & Pieces

  •  The Haiti Ascent Mountain Bike Stage Race was developed to showcase and support Haiti’s burgeoning tourism industry. If you want a mountain biking adventure, this looks like it. January 30th – February 3rd, 2013.

  • We love our local bike shops. But there are times when we wished the service was a bit more, um, enthusiastic. And seems one of the writers over at Engadget had the same experience. We share this as a cautionary tale. If you’re working in a bike shop, chances are good you’re pretty passionate about bikes. C’mon, show that passion to others. Get them just as excited about bikes and help keep your sales local!
