2013 Twin Six cycling jerseys

Twin Six has updated their collection with an early release of 2013 designs. The six shown above are all fresh graphics and will retail for $80 if they’re full zip, $75 for 3/4 zip. These are available now, and look for another ten or so designs to pop up in March.

While those maintain the same fabric, T6 has also developed a new premium jersey line called The Standard Collection. Available in mid-December, the Standard jerseys will only come in solid black, gray or white and use a higher performance fabric. The new material is called Prime T6 and has UV 28+ sun protection and a “next generation” micro denier polyester microfiber called Moisture Transport to wick sweat away from your body.

Like their regular jerseys, the material is sourced from North Carolina, designed in Minneapolis and sewn in California for 100% US-made pieces.

Check some new socks from Defeet and Swiftwick after the break…

defeet cyclismo compression padded cycling socks

Defeet threw the technology kitchen sink at their new Cyclismo cycling socks. They have a slightly thicker pad under the ball of the foot to reduce vibration and pressure above the pedal, a compressive arch support and their AeroSpeed Cuff to fit snug and breathe well. The upper part of the foot uses their Aireator Mesh and Advansa Thermo Cool Duoregulation fabrics to help your feet breathe and stay cool. Lastly, the to seam is virtually non existent and extremely comfortable.

I’ve ridden these several times since Interbike, including the 80 mile Hincapie Gran Fondo and had zero foot discomfort. Evan’s got a pair, too, and really likes them. Retail is $14.99 and they come in a range of colors, including the Hi-Vis yellow!

defeet honey badger halloween cycling socks

We didn’t see these Halloween Honey Badger socks until just now, so if you like getting things just after the holidays to prepare for the following year at a deal, here ya go. Maybe they’ll do a Honey Badger Turkey sock that says So Sleepy on the footbed for November.

Swiftwick Aspire pink cycling sock in tallest size 12Swiftwick has issued their Aspire sock in a Pink color, but only in the tallest “12” height. If you’re gonna be flamboyant, you gotta go all the way. Retail is $34.99.

They also have new White arm sleeves with the same 200 needle knit as their socks. For amputees, new Valor knee and arm socks for fitting under prosthetics.
