Early mountain clipless pedals…worked off a cantilever brake design. Early iterations worked exceptionally well but then companies switched to V style pedals and those worked better.

They look so much like Brooklyn ‘Snot Rockets’ brakes…..but if they were earlier versions surely they would have been a bit more crudely made……I love my ‘Snot Rockets’ and will never, ever, part with them!
