2013 Maxxis Detonator road bike tire gets every color in the rainbow

The Maxxis Detonator will come in virtually any color you need to match your kit and bike. The rainbow above shoes all 11 hues you can pick from in the 23c width, the 25 and 28 widths get a limited selection. There’s also a new all-white Re-Fuse 700×23 urban tire.

The new Minion DHR II is a mash up of the Minion and Highroller tread patterns. It’ll come in a 26×2.4 and be available in all compounds and casings. Usable for front and rear. Weights from 1225-1265g. Available now.

Three of their popular mountain bike tires get a 650B/27.5 size. The Crossmark (27.5×2.1 – 575g), the Ardent (27.5×2.25 – regular & EXO casings – 660g to 730g) and the High Roller II (27.5×2.4 – Super Tacky tread compound – 1260g).

Lastly, the new Torch BMX tires were designed for the asphalt tracks at the Olympics. Available in 20×1.5/1.76/1.95 at about 300g. Pics of most after the break…

So the 27.5″ Minion and Highroller are coming before the long awaited 29″ versions?

Make more sence to have the minion in the 27.5 not the 29, since 27.5 is going to be your mid travel trail bikes, while 29 will only ever be XC travel. 29 has a smaller compound high roller avaliable
