Copenhagen Parts Magnetic Light Main

Copenhagen Parts started off with the Bike Porter, an alloy basket-handlebar combo sold in multicolor that ended up on many cool cat urban builds. Now, they’re Kickstarting a new accessory, magnetic bike lights that’ll latch onto the frame. Encased in an aluminum shell is a powerful magnet and battery driven light that flicks on automatically when touching the frame. The backing is rubber, so the frame doesn’t get scratched, and it’s angled 17° to account for head tube and seat tube angles. Compatible with steel frames only, Copenhagen Parts claims the lights won’t fall off in nasty road and weather conditions.

The set will retail at $40. Click ‘more’ for details and a video…

Nice idea. I like the fact that they turn on automatically once attached to the frame – cool feature.
