Kennedy Donnelly, age 17, has just completed her Senior Service Project called Pedaling 4 Pencils- a bike ride from Portland, OR, to New York City. She rode 50-100 miles a day for 55 days to raise money for Pencils of Promise, an organization that builds schools in high-need communities in Laos, Guatemala, and Nicaragua. The video was made as a campaign by Pencils of Promise, called Impossible Ones, to mobilize the younger generation to take on personal challenges in order to help Pencils of Promise reach their goal of building 100 schools in 2012.

Kennedy’s ride is over, but her goal of raising $25,000 continues. Read her blog here. Contribute to her goal here.
