  • Portland Design Works and the Northwest Trail Alliance (NTA) have announced the opening of the Ventura Pump Park Track in Northeast Portland. PDW helped support the pump track as a member of 1% For The Planet – a group that supports environmental and advocacy programs with donations of 1% of their profits.   • If you’re in the Lincoln, Nebraska, area keep your eyes peeled for two sets of Park Tools with yellow, red, or white electrical tape marking their handles. The tools were stolen this week from the nonprofit bike shop and volunteer community called the Bike Kitchen. If you’d like to make a donation to help them replace the tools, email them here.
