Since the Campagnolo tool kit was so blindingly obvious, is it possible that this actually a VAR kit that looks like Campy? I’m pretty sure they used to make a similar kit for fixing bent Peugeots.

Its not a ONLY a Campy tool kit

It was (and still should be) the sign when you walk in a shop that they have their shit together and are good at what they do.

Yeah it looks like a Campy kit, but I don’t think it is. VAR did make a tool kit, but by the looks of the tools it isn’t a VAR. There was one more out there and I can’t remember the name of the company.

The crankpuller looks a little chubby. I’m going to guess its something French, maybe TA or Stronglight or something made for use on French bikes.

Not Campy. Zeus. http://www.flickr.com/photos/rencooks/4596298553/
The Campy kit is more tightly packed, has a different layout, and has a black tray instead of a blue one.

It’s a sign that you don’t know your arse from your elbow as that is never a Campag tool kit. Why do none of the tools have Campagnolo on them?

Campy? With a Zeus logo? Wow, I am sure sorry that I missed this one or I would have brow beaten all you guys with my superior bike nerdery. On a related note, the Zeus crown on my Raleigh fork is not labelled campy.

I recall seeing some Zeus derailleurs and hub sets in the late 1970’s. They were modeled on campy super record, but fabricated out of titanium.

I have this ZEUS kit, didn’t know what it was for exactly, until I found it on your site and read all the interesting comments
The box/kit is in excellent condition, and looks like it has never been used
Wondering what it is worth and where it could find a good home to be put to use
I am in the Philadelphia area @ 215-205-2522

I actually need to track down the crank puller from this set for a restoration I’m doing…does anyone have it that I can loan? Will pay to have it shipped to Morristown, NJ 07960, and back.
