K-Edge GoBig Pro GoPro bike saddle rail mount

Remember those beautiful machined, anodized GoPro camera mounts we saw from K-Edge at Interbike? The response was so big that they sped up production plans a bit and have an additional bar mount and direct mount options.

In addition to the original handlebar and seat rail mount, there’s a new mini handlebar mount and a direct mount that can be bolted to any flat surface. The latter is aimed more at motorsports and water sports, but could be creatively used for any number of things. All four are CNC’d 6061 T6 alloy and are 100% made in the U.S.A. They also have a lifetime guarantee (break it and they’ll replace it free) and will initially come in gunmetal, red and black ano options.

The first batch is cut and at the anodizer as this post goes live. Click through for the deets, pricing and pics…

Shown at the top is the Go Big Pro Handlebar mount. The design has changed a bit since Interbike; the clamp is now a two-piece bolt on design rather than hinged, which reduced costs and manufacturing complexity. The Pro weighs in at 46g, will fit OS 31.8 handlebars and can be mounted upside down or right side up. MSRP $59.99, which includes

The mini handlebar mount also fits OS 31.8 handlebars but keeps the camera a little closer to home. It weighs 24g and MSRP’s for $34.99.

The Go Big Adapter Mount has two counter sunk holes for an M4 flathead socket screw that lets you securely attach your camera to virtually any flat surface you’re willing to drill holes into. It weighs just 11g and retails for $24.99.

The Pro Saddle Rail Mount clamps to any standard two-rail bicycle seat, including the taller carbon rails. It’s designed to hold the camera facing backward, but we suppose you could put it in front of the post for a different perspective. Weight is 45g and retail is $49.99.

K-Edge says these mounts are rock solid and eliminate the vibrations and unintentional tilting or rotation of the camera, which we all know can ruin your budding film career.

Those look nice. How about an option with a 1/4″- 20 stud for compatibility with standard camera rigging gear?

Bravo, well done K-Edge! These have to work so much better than the anemic clamps you get with the camera.

@Dave if you need 1/4-20 or 3/8-20 (heavy duty photo gear) just get creative with the adapter mount. You could easily fab an aluminum block with a 1/4-20 tapped on one side and 2 M4 on the other or get fancy and build a plate to fit a Manfrotto or Arca-Swiss QR mount.

@ “Dave”, Minoura makes mounts for standard 1/4″ x 20, standard camera studs.

I’m looking for a seat mount and I like this one. 1 small possible problem though, the rail doesn’t look long enough. the camera needs to be far enough back not to make contact with your legs.
