NINER BIKES: Chris Sugai and Steve Domahidy partnered to create Niner Bikes after tossing around the idea on their regular Wednesday rides, but as of May 31, Domahidy has formally left the company. His contract was up, and he stated he wanted to pursue other opportunities within the bicycle industry.

Chris Sugai, co-founder and president of Niner Bikes, said the company would miss Steve’s energy and contributions. “Steve is a big part of our current success”. Those wishing to contact Niner’s product development should email Chris.

HINCAPIE SPORTS: Hincapie Sports’ long-time marketing director Steve Baker is leaving the company in June to pursue new opportunities.

“This was a hard decision for me to make, but in the end, I know it’s the right one for me and the company,” said Baker. “I am leaving on a high note to pursue some exciting personal opportunities. Hincapie Sportswear is in a great place with a great team to take it forward into the future. I’ve been with this company since the very beginning and I’ve thoroughly enjoyed building the brand and watching it grow. I won’t be here day to day, but I will still have involvement with Hincapie on an occasional basis.”
