Looking to build on the success of their P35 and Blunt rims, Velocity recently announced their newest rim, the Blunt SL. In addition to the rim, Velocity will also be offering two complete wheelsets with the Pro and Comp models. Everything will be available in both 26″, 650b,  and 29″ versions and all will be tubeless ready with the addition of Velocity’s Velotape kit. The end result looks to be a fairly light “XC race day” wheelset that won’t break the bank.

Check out the full specs after the break!

The 650b option is nice to see for people who ride 650b. Judging by the specs and pricing, I’m guessing that they expect the MSRP to be discounted to compete with Stan’s wheels.

How do Blunt SL Pro’s compare to the Stan’s NoTubes ZTR Crest? Is the technology really worth the extra $300 MSRP?
