If you’re among our more aggressive riding readers, you’re probably familiar with POC. They’ve been building their VPD (Visco-elastic Polymer Dough) into their protective gear for years, and now thrive developed a new hydration pack with VPD spine protection and a licensed HydraPak reversible reservoir. Reversible? Yep, you can turn the bladder inside out to make cleaning and drying a snap.

PRESS RELEASE: Hydrapak is pleased to announce an agreement with POC Sports, a leader in gravity sport safety, to include the Reversible Reservoir II into their new armored Spine VPD Hydration Pack. POC now joins a growing list of premium manufacturers utilizing Hydrapak’s superior Reversible Reservoir II drink system into their designs.

With the addition of several key cycling, moto, running and outdoor partners, Hydrapak is cementing its status as the leading supplier of premium hands-free hydration systems to the industry’s most prolific brands. “We are excited to offer our partners, like POC, a gateway into the hydration category by allowing them to utilize our years of development and manufacturing expertise,” states Matt Patterson, Director of Sales at Hydrapak. “With POC’s reputation for award winning design and attention to detail, we feel honored to have their validation that Hydrapak is the best choice for brands expanding into this market.”

“We tested several hydration reservoirs during the design process and chose the Hydrapak Reversible Reservoir II because of overwhelming consumer and tester feedback on cleaning, filling and drying,” said Jarka Duba, President of POC USA. “The new Surge Bite Valve and single seam welding can’t be replicated. We wanted the best hydration reservoir available to be included with this one-of-a-kind Free Ride pack.”

Along with Hydrapak’s growing list of partners, including DaKine, Vaude, Nathan, EVOC, Oakley, Columbia, Fox, Ogio, Scott, BMW, KTM, and Berghaus, they are shifting the dynamic of an industry once thought to be a one company category.
