By this point, if you haven’t ordered your custom 25th anniversary Yeti 575, sadly you are out of luck. The limited run of 250 is all but gone at this point.

However, fortunately for you Yeti has incorporated all the changes in to the standard issue 575, which makes it one of the best 575’s yet!

Details after the break!

Just like the special edition in the background, the new 575 receives a tapered headtube to increase front end stiffness and overall performance. At this point, it is fairly safe to say that the top trail/AM bikes are all going to this for a standard.

All of the new 575’s will have a new chainstay set up, which is borrowed from the robust ASR-7. The new boxxy stays will surely improve overall stiffness, while the carbon seatstays will take out some weight and should improve comfort. Combine all this with the replaceable dropouts so you can run a 142×12 rear axle and you are sure to have one of the stiffest rear sections in the biz.

Yeti also paid special attention to the front derailleur mount, choosing to utilize the Shimano direct mount standard which allows for whatever shape tubing you want at the seattube/bb junction. It’s nice to see the ISCG (05?) tabs as well, meaning you can run a single chain guide, 2x chainguide, or one of my favorite products: the MRP XCG (more on that later).

The Yeti yeti says "Ride your bike!"
