Just got these shots in from Mark at Panda Bicycles of their new road bike, The Legacy, which will make it’s official on-road debut at the Tour of the Rockies. Here’s what he shared:

The Legacy is a whole culled (ie. harvested; we try to keep the bamboo as natural as possible), steel lugged road frame.  We are using a SRAM rival set up with a compact crankset to help our rider get over some of the tougher passes in Ride the Rockies.  The wheels are hand built by the local wheel builder that builds all our wheels.

It was just ridden on the Elephant Rock Century and performed really well.  Our rider was happy with the stiffness and really happy about the comfort.

You’re probably wondering: The lugs are stainless steel, as they are on all of their bikes. Another photo after the break…

Nice looking bike… Just don’t loan it to any pandas.
