Fulcrum has upped their offerings for the nether regions of freeride and downhill with their new Red Heat wheelset.

Designed to “be solid and strong, ready to face any obstacle and land with no problems after any jump,” it’s a clincher-only aluminum rim that’s a somewhat narrow (for the category) 22mm.  Claimed weight is 2,200g, pricing TBD.

The Red Heat use oversized aluminum hubs with standard 6-bolt disc rotor mounts mated to the rims via stainless steel spokes (32 hole, front and rear).  Front hub is 20mm thru axle and 12mm/150mm for the rear.
