While the body of it looks similar to the Midpack, it’s really quite different. The top opening rolls closed, but can also be folded over to act like a flap if necessary, and the additional straps allow for multiple closing and compression methods. The side pockets are larger and solid (versus mesh on the MP).
On the inside, it’s similar to all of R.E.Load’s bags with a waterproof Vinyl-coated Nylon liner and internal pockets with pen slots. Other features include a handle, padded shoulder straps, adjustable sternum strap, blinky light loop, padded back panel, rear inside pocket and a ballistic Nylon base on the bottom to improve durability.

Dimensions are 21″H x 17″W x 11″D for a grand total of 3,927 cubic inches of hauling. And haul it can…seriously, check out what we loaded our Midpack with in that review and you’ll get an idea of what you could cram in this thing.
The rear panel is padded nicely, as are the straps.
Top compression straps help cinch it down at various load levels. The D-rings make them easy to pull even with big winter gloves on.
R.E.Load offers full custom builds on this (and all of their bags), letting you choose different colors for pretty much every panel, trim and stitching color…even the liner and velcro colors. Prices start at $345 for the Megapack, and this thing only has one additional option: Reflective Tails for $6.00.
