The BC Bike Race, a mountain bike stage race from Vancouver to Whistler, BC, Canada, has announced a shorter daily route for the 2010 race. The Challenge is the newest offering in the BCBR quiver. It is the ‘lite’ version of the original BC Bike Race event, which we now refer to as the BCBR Epic.

BCBR Challenge riders will experience, on average, 30km each day of sweet BC singletrack. The Challenge is the same seven days as the Epic, visits the same towns, stays at the same Base Camps, enjoys all the same amenities, but rides approximately half the distance each day.

The registration cap for BCBR 2010 is still limited to 500 riders, even with the newly added BCBR Challenge option.

More info and videos of the BCBR in our earlier post here,  2010 BC Bike Race.
